Today we slept until 7am and had breakfast with Pema Dorjee and Trinlay. Next, we sat together to evaluate the things we did yesterday. We had to discuss a lot, because we did a lot. We think it’s very important that every member of the group knows about all our activities in order to properly conduct our projects. Moreover, we all want to know what the feelings are of every member regarding the project. Further, we discussed the water distribution system project. More specifically, we found both an engineer of the Redcross and from a private organization willing to join us to Ratankot!
Furthermore, we evaluated the meeting with Pema about the book account and the preparation of the ceremony upon our arrival in Ratankot. And also the planning for today and the other days has been discussed.
At 10am Mélodie, Charlot and Jelke went with Karma to the centre of Kathmandu to buy materials in function of the water distribution system.
In parallel, Brecht, Lien, Kristof, Pierre and Mark went to Thamel to buy some essential materials for the village. After that, they went to the U.N. House to meet an educational expert who provided us very useful information how to develop our educational pillar.
During and after dinner we had a group evaluation on how our busy day went.
Best regards from Kathmandu,
